Petar Rakovic is a retired professional football player currently working as a senior financial director in pharmaceutical industry and in the process of obtaining FIFA agent license in 2024.

Petar’s unusual career path started in FC Red Star youth system in the famous “Generation ‘84” alongside well-known football players such as Dusan Basta (Udinese, Lazio, Serbian national team), Bosko Jankovic (Majorca, Genoa, Serbian national team), Dejan Milovanovic (Lens, Serbian national team), Marko Perovic (Basel, New England Revolution, Serbian national team), Dragan Mrdja (Lierse, Sion, Japan, Serbian national team).

Following one season stint at FK Radnicki Kragujevac, Petar continued his athletic and academic career at St. John’s University, New York, winning the Big East championship ring in his second season. Transferring to New York State University at Stony Brook, Petar immediately became the captain of the team under one of the best NCAA coaches Cesar Markovic. In 2008. Petar graduated from Stony Brook University completing a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance with many athletic and academic awards.

Following graduation, Petar continued playing professional football in Norwegian Division I team IF Mjondalen and Serbian Division I team FK Rad Belgrade.

For the past 11 years, Petar had worked in German pharmaceutical industry as a finance director in Europe, Middle East, Affrica, and Russia.
